Serj Tankian and Winter trends

The weather here in Bulgaria is going to be too cold for the new 2011,

so I turned back for a little winter collections review. The weather makes me wish stronger the SUMMER !

Inspired from the last beach festival Spirit of Burgas,

Particularly from Serj Tankian performance,

I saw many common features between his rousing music and nowadays fashion.

I also find his outfits very stylish and actual,

especially in woman FW 2010 collections where the Man style is highly respected .

I will show you my favorites for this winter.

Let's start with my  most favorite accent
Lines through the body…

Siprit of  Burgas 2010

Frankie Morello          Matthew Williamson                Timo Weiland                     Missoni                          Balenciaga

Alexander McQueen                Ellie Saab                            Ferre                       Hermes                                 Yves Saint Laurent
Versace                      Francesco Scognamiglio     Emilio Pucci                     Blumarine                                 Trussardi

Trussardi                                Celine                               Prada                             Miu Miu                                     Gambattista Valli
Burberry Prorsum            Paul Smith                    Victor & Rolf          Narciso Rodrigues  Philosophy     Temperly London
GRAY is stylish and also proper  for 2011 - according Chinise Zodiac 2011 is Rabbit's yaer and we have to wear Metallic colours!

Christian Dior               Hermes                  Philosophy           Dolce & Gabbana
Gucci                  Dsquared2              Michael Kors            Giambattista Valli
Burberry Prorsum  Diane von Furstenberg Alexander Wang   Paul Smith

Serj music is like a bucket of many styles and instruments, everything what I want to say will be insufficiently. If you need an inspiration and something different - don’t give up, go on and listen Serj! Serj music in his new album Imperfect Harmonies, as he says, is "electro-orchestral-jazz-rock" the trends are exactly the same – combination of   different materials and styles and in the same time – beautiful!

IMPERFECT HARMONIES
of Geometric figures, parts of man suits, asymmetric elements …
Vivienne Westwood                            Missoni          Gucci              Narciso Rodrigues

Two different parts ...

Gucci                            Frankie Morello                  Vivienne Westwood Red Label

Painted Materials

They always make you fill fresh and different   ...

Luca Luca                        Chanel                                     Gucci                          Diane von Furstenberg       Matthew Williamson

Melody and in the same time aggressive rock guitars, the piano is like telling us stories from old times…you can find all this in his first solo album Elect The Dead. His outfit for the first album reminds me magus from the late 19h century, so the tendances are … beavers, jabot, redingotes and a high neck, something romantic  :)

Serj Tankian                                                                                                Hermes

Christian Dior

Men style. The trends are calling for more independence and remind me the writer Gorge Sand. She wasn’t like common   women. Sand's male dress  gave her more freedom- comfortable and access. She builds  the  basis of today’s independent  woman.
The accent in Man style is on:
Beavers
George Sand                 Sarah Jessica Parker               Christian Dior

Dress Coat - Just like George Sand
Chanel                                     Alexander Wang          Diane von Furstenberg    Vivienne Westwood Red Label       Paul Smith

Black jacket and jackets at all!
wwwmyspace/serjtankian.com                     Dolce & Gabbana                        Victor & Rolf                         Dsquared2

man outfit gives you more freedom

Ungaro            Kenzo                    Matthew Williamson   Dries Van Noten           Cerruti          Diane von Furstenberg

Giambattista Valli                        Alexander Wang                 Christopher Kane                Versace                            Hermes

Military style also makes the woman strong and elegant...
